Binance has suspended spot trading. According to the exchange’s announcement, it has discovered an issue “affecting” spot trading on the platform. Trading operations are temporarily suspended, the exchange team is working on resolving the issue, writes RBC Crypto.
According to the head of the exchange, Changpeng Zhao, initial analysis showed that the system found a “strange” bug in the order matching mechanism. Estimated time to solve the problem is from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
According to Zhao, deposits and withdrawals on the platform are also suspended in accordance with the standard procedure, users’ funds are safe.
