FTX CEO announced a possible restart of the exchange


The new head of FTX, John Ray, said he was exploring the possibility of restarting the bankrupt exchange. This is reported The Wall Street Journal.

“All this is being discussed,” the top manager emphasized during the interview.

According to him, a specially created working group is studying whether the revival of FTX.com can create more value for users compared to the liquidation of the platform’s assets.

In November, the FTX Group filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Sam Bankman-Fried, who stepped down as CEO, was replaced by John Ray III.
