FTX founder Benkman-Fried agrees to extradition to US – Reuters

Sam Benkman-Fried, the founder of the FTX crypto exchange, has decided to agree to an extradition from the Bahamas to the United States to face fraud charges.

Writes about it Reuters with a link to the source.

The interlocutor told the agency just hours after the FTX founder’s lawyer told the Bahamas judge that he was not ready to consent.

This paves the way for the 30-year-old businessman to be accused of stealing billions from FTX clients to cover losses at Alameda Research, his hedge fund, before the exchange crashed in November.
