The Japanese branch of the collapsed cryptocurrency exchange FTX initially planned to resume withdrawals by the end of 2022.
However, then the administration of FTX Japan decided to shift the deadlines in order to process all user applications in detail.
Last Monday, the press service of the branch of the trading platform released a statement stating that the withdrawal of funds will resume from February 21. Investors will be able to withdraw fiat money and cryptocurrencies through the Japanese Liquid platform.
Traders who do not have accounts on this exchange must register on it. Only in this case they will be able to submit applications and withdraw assets from FTX Japan.
The press center emphasized:
We are pleased to announce that we are resuming the withdrawal of fiat currency and digital assets from FTX Japan through the Liquid Japan platform website from February 21st.
Application processing time and withdrawal of funds may be delayed. However, the company guarantees that all appeals will be considered by the administration.
At the request of the Japanese Financial Services Agency (FSA), the FTX Japan platform stopped fiat and digital currency withdrawals in November last year.
